The Department of Trade and Industry – Davao del Norte Provincial Office (DTI-DNPO), through its Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), in partnership with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Davao del Norte Provincial Office, successfully conducted the Introduction to Productivity and Efficiency cum 5S of Good Housekeeping in Microenterprise Operations together with a Business Matching and Opportunity Orientation with GREENBRIDGE on June 25, 2026, at the Amatong Room, Bulwagan ng Karunungan, Government Center, Capitol Grounds, Mankilam, Tagum City.
The activity aimed to strengthen the operational capabilities of Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs) by equipping them with practical tools and strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, workplace organization, and competitiveness.
Serving as Resource Person, Engr. Rollie Jay Dupitas, Trade-Industry Development Specialist of DTI-DNPO, discussed the foundations of productivity and efficiency, the identification of operational wastes (Muda), and the application of the 5S Good Housekeeping System—Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain—in microenterprise operations. Participants also pledged to develop their own 5S Action Plans and promote continuous improvement and market readiness.
The activity was further enriched through the Business Matching and Opportunity Orientation with GREENBRIDGE, where ARBO participants were introduced to potential business opportunities, market requirements, and possible partnerships that could help expand their enterprises and improve market access.
DTI-DNPO, through CARP, remains committed to empowering ARBOs through capacity-building programs, productivity enhancement initiatives, and market linkage activities that support sustainable enterprise development, increased incomes, and improved livelihoods for agrarian reform beneficiaries.
